One of the favorite things about Kansas City is that there are so many spots to explore. From nature and national parks to gorgeous city landscapes, KC has a lot to offer in the form of photo locations. These five are my favorite photo locations in KC!

Museum at Prairiefire
This place is absolutely gorgeous, especially close to sunset when the light is reflecting off of the windows. This is a great spot for engagement photos or school photos, and it is located next to some fun shops and restaurants. We made a day out of going there for photos and exploring!
The Library District
This spot was one that I didn’t know about until we had been here for a while, but it is such a beautiful area! This book wall is the side of the parking garage for the public library, and it is such a unique photo location! There are also some cute shops and restaurants nearby to check out while you are there.
West Bottoms
West Bottoms has so many fun murals and different photo spots! We have been a few times, and I swear we find a new mural every time! I love finding the bright colored walls to accentuate whatever I am wearing and change up the colors in my photos.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
This museum is located right in downtown KC and is in a beautiful area. They have a huge lawn with these fun sculptures and a gorgeous view. The entire building has unique spots outside to get different locations all in the same day. It is a great spot to go to for nature photos as well with lots of trees and plants.
Kaufmann Center of Performing Arts
This might be one of my FAVORITE spots for photos. I love how this building reflects sunlight and colors and makes such a unique backdrop for photos. We were able to go on a beautiful summer day and capture the blue skies and sunlight.
